A principal function with respect to the Independence Day in the city was jointly organized by Pakistan Nazaria Trust and Tehrik-e-Pakistan Workers Trust at Aiwan-e-Karkunan-e-Tehrik-e-Pakistan, where the Chairman of Majid Nizami trust will also hoist the flag of Pakistan.
In the federal capital, the ADC has made arrangements to celebrate the global Independence Day. The authority organized a colorful event in the Fatima Jinnah Park F-9, which is marked by a grand display of fireworks.
A show of aerobatics will be held at Minar-e-Pakistan (Iqbal Park) where the vice president of the Punjab Assembly Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan will be guest of honor.

Special stands were set up in every nook and cranny of the city for the sale of national flags, buntings, colorful banners and pictures of national heroes who have made unremitting efforts to achieve an independent state for Muslims.
The most enthusiastic are the children who are busy collecting stickers, badges and also beautify their bicycles with stickers inscribed with special messages of Independence Day. Many of them have planned to show tattoo Pakistani flags on their faces.
Special prizes are awarded on this occasion to those that decorate and illuminate their beautiful building.
Elaborate security placements have been created in the city and to control traffic on main roads especially Shahra-e-Quaid-e-Azam in the city.
Traffic police were directed to impound the bikes of one-wheel and take off that buffet creating huge noise of motorcycles.
Traffic Officer (CTO) has issued strict orders were issued to all traffic officers. Instructions were sent to take action against those found moving on the roads of the city on specially modified bikes prepared for a wheel must be impounded.
Under extra systems, traffic officials are too being deployed at various points.
