Ryan Lochte |
Appearing on the morning show today Friday, gold medalist told Matt Lauer that his next feat, he would make a grand entrance on reality TV, especially Dancing With the Stars and get ready-, Ladies, maybe even the bachelor.
"I am decidedly addressed Dancing With the Stars and the Bachelor, so we'll see what happens," Lochte's 28-year-old said, confirming reports that his agent has been commissioning offers.
Ten Olympians that we want to do Dancing With the Stars
Hey, if Hope Solo and Apolo Ohno can compete for the mirrorball, there is no reason he can not too.
Regarding the bachelor, with the Olympics nearly over, Ryan could now be able to devote more time to a relationship, something he could not do during his years of rigorous training (albeit its mother told Lauer last month that he "comes out on a night").
Wearing Speedos for so many years, the hunky swimmer also added that he would like to fly the new portable objects of his own making.
"I really want to move to LA," he revealed. "This was a big goal of mine to enter the fashion because it's my passion. I definitely want to get into the fashion and design and my own clothing line."

These new projects would also be a welcome break, he noted, coming after the "whirlwind" of the Olympic Games.
"[I'll probably take some time off," admitted Ryan. "It's been four years of every day in the pool. It is time to take at least several weeks."
The producers of DWTS and Bachelor are staying mum for now on casting for next season. But given the penchant for dance exploit the Olympians and the fact that Bachelorette star Roberto Martinez has chosen not to become the next Bachelor after separation with Ali Fedotowsky, we would not be surprised if Lochte gets an invitation.
