NEW DELHI: the spirit of Google for the London Olympics in 2012 seems to be endless as it has set up a new sport centered doodle on its home page on Saturday. As the Olympics begin with archery after the opening ceremony, Google has spent a doodle to this sport.

The archery London 2012 is the second Google doodle in this week to show his approval to the Olympics. The doodle shows a female archer aiming at a green field. Competition Archery Olympics 2012 London Summer will be held at cricket ground, which has long been considered the birthplace of cricket.

Of India, a team of 81 athletes, including six archers participated in the Olympics. The six Indian archers are: Rahul Banerjee, Tarundeep Rai, Jayanta Talukdar, L Bombayla Devi, Deepika Kumari and Chekrovolu Swuro.

On Friday, Google displayed a doodle representing five track athletes in the letters now from Google that also symbolizes the Olympic Games logo. Characteristics doodle football sport, basketball, swimming, fencing, running and javelin.

The London Olympics in 2012, officially the Games of the XXX Olympiadis, began July 27, 2012 and ending August 12, 2012.
